Job Description The API Live Program Manager oversees and implements API's monthly teleseminar program. Please see the attached teleseminar description for the purpose and goals of the program. The API Live PM will work closely with the API executive director, API commmunications and publications teams, cofounders, and host and guests.

Role includes working with ED to set up the teleseminar schedule for the year, scheduling the monthly teleseminar call(s), developing the registration and promotion materials including a monthly dedicated blast, providing call information to the guests and hosts, troubleshooting registration special requests or issues, and working with API staff to cross-promote the teleseminars on API's website, blog, social networks, magazine, partners, forum, Leader community site, and enewslettters. Currently the project entails about four to six hours of work per month.

Additional position options: As interested and/or comfortable, the API Live Program Manager can participate in continuing education on teleconferencing and webinar strategies, arranging communication and promotion strategies, assisting with planning and arranging guests, and working with communications to develop press releases.

The API Live PM should have good communication skills, have a willingness to learn new tools, be responsible and dependable, and be supportive of API and its mission.

No expenses are covered by API for this position. Volunteer will have necessary long distance access, internet, and other office needs.
