| Job Description | API Technology Coordinator
Attachment Parenting International is searching for a Technology Coordinator. The Technology Coordinator is responsible for overseeing API’s website, various WordPress blog installations, maintaining the forum database, managing the Google Apps installation, and other projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with the following programs and/or technologies: PHP/HTML – The API website uses a combination of PHP and HTML documents. Basic knowledge of these technologies is desired as the API Webmaster manages the daily updates of the site. WordPress – API uses a variety of WordPress blog installations. Knowledge of upgrading WordPress is needed. Google Apps – API is in the middle of a Google Apps rollout. Knowledge of how Google Apps operates, including Google Sites, Google Docs, and Gmail is preferred. vBulletin – Experience with backing up and maintaining a vBulletin forum database is preferred. Although API uses a variety of technologies, a candidate with technical experience would be a good fit as these programs can be easily learned by technologically minded individuals and training could be provided. Estimated time commitment is XX hours/week. |
