| Job Description | Assistant Editor – This person will be a specialist in one Principle, keeping up to date with the latest research, news, and trends; making connections with like-minded organizations; connecting with authors of new-release books and publications. The end product will be at least one contributed article in each quarterly issue of the magazine, as well as articles contributed to the online portion as required. This person will build their own pool of writers and researchers. This person will report to the Associate Editor. One Assistant Editor is needed in each of the following areas:
• Pregnancy & Birth – all topics related to pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum support • Breastfeeding & Nutrition – all topics related to infant feeding, weaning, and nutrition of older children • Babywearing & Touch – all topics related to nurturing touch in infants and older children • Safe Sleep – all topics related to sleep in infants and older children • Consistent Care – all topics related to consistent and loving care with infants and older children • Discipline – all topics related to positive discipline • Balance – all topics related to personal and family balance. |
