| Job Description | To process and fulfill new professional memberships by sending out welcome letters, mailing welcome packets, and incorporating their business listing into our professional resource directory. To be the main point of contact for the professionals to API and from API to the professionals. To help implement a more comprehensive program that will help retain our professional members to want to renew their membership. To work with the Publication team to announce their membership in the various eNewsletter as well as provide information for them to be spotlighted in The Attached Family website and print version of the journal. To work with Leader Liaison to help promote their membership to the support groups so that they can be looked at as an additional resource. Work with Advertising team to help encourage professionals to purchase advertising into various API publications at their discounted rate.
Ideas that we were hoping to see implemented over time by the Professional Member Liaison: - A more direct effort to encourage membership renewals - A quarterly outreach to all professionals to ensure that they are taking advantage of their membership program and to verify that they do not have any questions and are enjoying their membership - To help provide in-depth forum guidance so that they are start utilizing the forum as a tool to promote their business, to contact with other professionals, and to help them be additional support on the forum for API members - To encourage professionals by stimulating discussions on the forum, posting an article of interest to them, and to ensure that they are receiving a moderated forum by board of directors or research members at least once a quarter - To help professionals connect with their local support groups and to connect the support groups with the professionals so that there is additional exposure of their support of API as well as promotion of their business - Personally invite them to various events that are happening at API such as API reads author forum, teleseminars, special conferences, and events - Creating professional eNewsletter that could be delivered on a quarterly or monthly basis |
