Does anyone know if bananas are a potential food allergy? I took my 14mo to the dr yesterday with hives - we couldn't figure out what he could be allergic to. He has eaten baby-food bananas before, but just had "real" banana fairly recently. I can't remember when we first gave him a bite of fresh banana - couldn't have been more than 10 days ago. I personally am allergic to fresh tomatoes, but I can do highly processed ones just fine.
