Has anyone weaned a baby (6-12 months old) and then started nursing again after a month or so? I'm looking for someone with BTDT experience for someone in my local group. Thanks!

#201-24-2010, 01:27 PMI have a friend who stopped nursing her 1 or 2 month old due to BFing issues and after about 30days started nursing again. I don't remember the details at all. She is in my LLL group but she is the one known for stopping and starting. I also have a friend whos daughter tried for 1 or 2 months to BF and couldn't get the baby to latch. Then when the child was 3 or 4 months old they were in the tub together and the baby just latched on. She didn't facilitate BFing thought, sad. Don't know her personally don't knwo the details.
