    Sibling cosleeping

    #1
Our son who is almost 4 has recently started to want to sleep in his own bed in his (and our daughters) room. Our daughter, 2, thinks it is a neat idea too and would like to be in her room too. We have a queen sized bed in their room - up until now they have both slept with us.

Anyone know of recommendations for what age would be appropriate for siblings to cosleep together without adults??

I've heard a lot of people say that putting siblings together is a wonderful way for them to transition. I've never heard any official recommendations, but I know families that have moved their 1 year olds in with older siblings and it has worked beautifully. I would think by 2 you would be fine, a 2 year old definitely has the ability to wake up and tell someone squishing them to move over.
