    Fathering to sleep?

    Hi there
    Due to our circumstances A's Dad would love to be able to put her to sleep. 5 1/2 month old, co-sleeping. At night time won't settle unless attached to Mum, and I can't always be there unfortuanatly!
    Any strategies that work?

    my dh was actually able to get my babies to sleep better than i could! something about the way he'd walk them, sing to them w/their head on his chest, or lay next to them and massage them, they'd drift right off! dads really do have instincts of their own. your dh will have to find his own rhythm, but tell him to trust himself to be up for the task!
