Hello everyone!

my 9 m.o. DD's biological clock is set and working: she goes to bed at 21.30 following the same routine every night, wakes up at 7-7.30, does 2 naps during the day of approximately 3 hours long, and she is happy and playful the rest of the day.
But.....(there is always a but), she wakes every night, since she was 4 m.o., crying in her sleep. She doesn't open the eyes, just cries. I pick her up and in 5 min she is back to sleep.
I have made a lot of effort to make this working, I read a lot of books on the subject. I follow all advice (rocking, rubbing back, sshhing, saying cue words) and I have managed to 'eliminate' nursing to only 2 or 3 of her wakings (when her cries do not stop otherwise).
We were co-sleeping for 4 months, in a bed arrangement of my own creation, since our bed is not big enough to accomodate all of us. Since she started crawling and standing up, the arrangement presented hazards, so I put back the bars on the crib, and gradually, started to move my couch-bed away.
If only I knew what makes her cry, that would solve the only problem left. Even her nursing sessions last 5 min, not more. She leaves the breast on her own now (after so many gentle removals ) and I put her immediately back to her crib. She cries again one hour later, and this goes on all night.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there information available?
Could it be that she just wants to sleep close to me?

I still find it amazing that she doesn't even open her eyes, at least once during the night!!! ( I do, though )
