We've been co-sleeping pretty much since day 1, because it just seemed to work. Then I read Dr. Sears' Baby Book and realized I wasn't being a nut, but was just following my gut instincts and doing what worked best for our family (now that i know about AP, i'm ALL about it! yay- others who have similar beliefs and ideas!)
Now I have some questions, just logistically, about how others work things.
Where does your LO sleep? between you and a wall? between you and DH? between you and the edge? once baby starts rolling and being more mobile, did you get a rail or some sort of thing like that?
Also (this is gonna sound dumb
) how do you work the blanket situation? I'm always unsure if DS's gonna be too hot under our covers, and don't want to smother him with the comforter, so i usually have him next to my chest, and don't have the covers up past my waist... but then i get cold.... how do you work the covers situation?
When baby goes down for a nap, where does he sleep?
Also, at bedtime, does he just go to bed when one of you does? or does he go to sleep earlier, alone in your bed?
I'm interested to see other responses. I'm new to this whole AP thing, and am so excited at the chance to talk with others who are doing things similarly
