I was wondering how did you discover Attachment Parenting?

As a parent-educator and someone interested in child development I have been familiar with attachment theory (the work of Bowlby and Ainsworth and Mary Main), and specifically with the work of Dr. Sears and other pioneers in the field. After Playful Parenting came out in 2001, many people who identify themselves with Attachment Parenting found my work very compatible with their world view. I tend to come at things from a little bit different angle, or rather angles: play and deep emotions. i think that getting on the floor and playing and helping children feel and express their feelings are the great "unsung" ways of building close connections between parents and children.
