Daily Tip: You aren’t spoiling your child

Daily Tips logoAdvice to parents: Show your kids affectionate attention. Cuddle with them as much as you can. You may be doing more good than you realize.

Ignore those who say you are spoiling your child.  Think about the benefits you are providing.

Daily Tip: Why do we need touch?

Daily Tips logoTouch meets a baby’s needs for physical contact, affection, security, stimulation and movement. Skin-to-skin contact is especially effective, such as during breastfeeding, bathing or massage. Carrying or babywearing also meets this need while on the go. Hugs, snuggling, back rubs, massage and physical play help meet this need in older children. Learn more through Attachment Parenting International.
