I really enjoyed reading your series of posts and hope to use many, many of the tips in the coming months as I prepare for our new baby… although this one is my 5th baby, I have never had to deal with having two so close together before (2 under 2) so this is all a brand new world to me!

Ahhh, good comments about preparing for #2 by talking about it a lot. We definitely did that with our 3 year old. Giving the older sibling “responsibilities” or “jobs” to help with the new baby was also helpful…. Although the concept of sharing is foreign for a 3 year old, there were plenty of times when our little girl helped sing our new baby boy to sleep, and lie down with mom during naps etc..

We too made room for two. My favorite Momma of two moment is when I am wearing my six month old in the wrap and then pick up my three year old on my hip and she proudly proclaims that I am a “pack mule!”
