Sounds like you made the right decision. It's so sad that the economy is forcing more and more families to live apart during the week.

Wow! What a huge change! It sounds like things are coming together though. I have also moved many times already (as you know) and it can be so disorienting and stressful, even if it is for the better, the adjustment period can be brutal. I never feel like anywhere I move is going to be permanent. Being one person, I have a major advantage. I can't imagine having a whole family to move with! You are a strong woman! I am sending you my love from way over here on the west coast. Keep me posted on things. Awesome you're right by the beach! You'll be loving it in the summer :-)

Moving has always been a bitter-sweet experience for me. The excitment of going somewhere that better fits your needs (for now, since they always seem to change) and the sadness of leaving behind a home where memories were created.

I think you have covered all your based by accepting that this is the best thing for your family right now and taking the right steps even though it is hard. It sounds you've done everything right by acknowledging your children's feelings and encouraging them to express how they feel - hopefully they see and appreciate your support.

Good luck with the rest of your move! Hopefully things return to a sense of normalcy for you soon.
